7th Hinchinbrook Birdlife Art Awards

The Hinchinbrook Shire is home to many varieties of bird species, with our very own TYTO Wetlands home to a staggering 27.4% of Australian bird species, almost the same amount as Kakadu National Park, but in an area 18 000 times smaller.

TYTO Regional Art Gallery’s contribution to Bird Conservation is to hold an annual competition open to the national arena, creating opportunities for artists to provide inspiration through art with artworks based on birds found in the Hinchinbrook Shire.
